Book Of Exodus

This historical Old Testament record starts with the deliverance of the Jews from under the bondage of the Egyptians. It was through Joseph, the 11th son of Jacob also known as Israel, that the Jews were welcome and blessed in Egypt during a famine in the land that was theirs. But after hundreds of years they had not returned to their land and eventually fear of their numbers moved the Egyptian Pharaoh placed unjust burdens upon them. God’s use of Moses to deliver the people is one told over and over and has been related to by many in the world who seek freedom from tyranny. It is also a story that points to the great delivery of all mankind fro. sin, Jesus Christ.
